At Premier Edge Hockey Academy, our mission is to develop aspiring hockey players who aim to compete at the prep school or junior hockey level in regions where hockey truly matters.
By emphasizing proper skating habits and techniques, we strive to instill the skills and discipline found in areas where hockey is more than just a game—it’s a way of life. What sets us apart is the expertise of our founder, who grew up immersed in the hockey culture of Massachusetts. With experience playing Division I high school hockey, NCAA Division I college hockey, competing internationally, and coaching a state championship Bantam team in Massachusetts, our founder brings a wealth of knowledge and first-hand insight into what it takes to succeed at the highest levels. Additionally, we leverage strong relationships with programs across New England to help our players pursue their hockey aspirations. At Premier Edge Hockey Academy, we are committed to developing the next generation of elite hockey talent.

Get ready for the upcoming fall/winter season with our intensive 3-day boot camp! Premier Edge Hockey Academy is hosting a focused training session from June 2nd to June 4th, running from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM at Tri-Valley Ice in Dublin.

This camp is designed for aspiring tiered, travel, and recreational hockey players seeking to improve their overall skills. Whether you're preparing to face off against players from colder climates or looking to sharpen your skills, this boot camp will provide the fundamentals you need to succeed.

ABOUT US
Premier Edge Hockey Academy was founded by Justin Chin, a Massachusetts native with a lifelong passion for the game. Growing up in the northeast, where hockey is deeply ingrained in the culture, Justin first laced up his skates at the age of four and joined the Framingham Jets Youth Hockey program by age seven. Under the guidance of some of the region’s top coaches, he developed a strong foundation in the sport, eventually playing varsity hockey for Framingham High School—one of the premier Division I programs in the state.

Following high school, Justin continued his pursuit of higher-level hockey at Bridgton Academy in Maine. Although an injury sidelined his playing opportunities that year, his dedication never wavered. He went on to attend Bentley University, where he competed at the NCAA Division I level, surrounded by teammates who would go on to play professionally and at elite levels of the game.

After college, Justin shifted his focus to coaching, bringing his experience and knowledge to the youth level. Over three seasons coaching the Framingham Jets 12U (formerly Bantam), he led his teams to the state tournament each year, ultimately winning a Massachusetts state championship.

At Premier Edge Hockey Academy, Justin brings a coaching philosophy rooted in fundamentals, discipline, and a love for the game. His goal is to help young players develop the proper skating habits and skills necessary to compete with athletes from traditional hockey hotbeds, all while ensuring they have fun and build a strong work ethic. With firsthand experience in high-level hockey and deep connections to programs in New England, Justin is committed to helping aspiring players take their game to the next level.
